Link To Flogged On the March: Part 1

With the New Year, I have decided to try my hand, once again, at some fiction.  I have posted the first of a four part series at Whippingdudes.iteratus.net.  It is called Flogged on the March.  I hope you enjoy it.  It is part 1 of 4 of a short work of fiction.  Please let me know what you think about the imagery contained and the writing style used.  You can post your comments here or on the article.

I decided to post it over there because it is truly original content, and I want to get a community to form at that site.  I am not about to take the Blogspot site down because it is actually easier to find because we are listed in their blog directory.

  3. This scene, from Sharpe's Eagle, is one of my favourites. A good proper, British military flogging, even if it was undeserved. Sharpe comes to loosen the young soldier's bonds after the whipping before handing him over to Harper. We get to really hear the whip crack in between the 3 drumbeats between each lash. A truly classic scene!
