100,000 Hits!

Hey, everyone!  We hit the 100,000 views milestone.  When I started this blog I thought it would take years to have that many views.  But judging by the success of this blog and the popularity of our YouTube videos (when they were available), flogging is a popular and under-represented theme.

This is the premier blog for flogging!  Please tell your friends about it—even if you’re not sure they are into this.  People don’t know that they like flogging until they discover it.  Just look at how popular the flogging in Star Ship Troopers is (if you can judge by the number of hits the pirated uploads on YouTube get).

We also have a FaceBook page, so join us there.

  1. I can't believe this actually exists - thought I was really one of 2-3 people worldwide who was actually into this! I sincerely appreciate your efforts to keep this from devolving into a BDSM type forum, which inevitably misses the point. I've been into military-style bare-back whipping/flogging since as far back as I can remember. Keep up the good work, and I'll be looking forward to what this brings to the net!

  2. For a long time I was afraid of being crazy, because I longed t obe whipped on my bare back as hard as possible. I couldn't imagine that there would be a few more guys all over the world who like to endure hard lashes on their bare backs. It's so great that friends of the whip are now able to excange their experiences and ideas in the web. It's a very rewarding sport to whih a friend until exhaustion or to be whipped harder and harder.
    Greetings from Peter

  3. I am glad you guys could join us. We are growing, slowly but surely. I would like to suggest that Anonymous create a Google account (even if just to join this website), so it will be easier to identify you. We have several regular visitors who post under Anonymous.

BTW, how did you find us? I am always curious on how people find this blog (because they always seems so surprised) and I want to use what tools are available to make it easier for others that are into flogging to locate us, too.

  4. I find this blog by searching in google with the words "whipping" and "shirtless".

  5. Went searching after the Youtube vids went missing, simply because I loved the presentation of them. No theatrics, no staging, just pure raw endurance at its best. Can't wait to see more...and hopefully see some of my fantasies on screen as well ;)

  6. Mostly standard stuff, and all have been posted in other threads already with some discussions.

A little more pre-whipping stuff, like shirt removal (added + if it's torn off), getting restrained, then maybe some facial reaction shots during the actual whipping. Realizing of course that you want to maintain anonymity, so that'd probably be a problem.

    Just the basic fantasies, really...

  7. I discovered through the now defunct videos from you tube. Before I thought I was crazy, that someone would be beaten, naked and bound at this time it seemed unreal that only lived in my imagination.
Now I realize that we are many in the world!

  9. Is there any single more manly act than pulling off and removing your shirt for a flogging? I don't mean obvious things like saving or risking a life, of course; just simply and manfully stripping to the naked torso to get lashes and take it like a man.

  10. I am in total agreement with you, Mike. It's not about the pain, it's about having the courage to simply step up and say, "give it to me".

  11. I dunno, man, I think it is about the pain, not entirely, but partially. Yah, you do wanna step up like my bro Mike and Buddy say, still you can't tell me that when you're strung up, waiting for that whip to bite into your flesh, you don't think about what it entails. And when that whip strikes, it sucks the air right out of you. I've watched the last vid Buddy posted, and when the dude with the quirt in his hands lays it on Buddy's shoulder, he sorta flinches. No offense, dude. I do the same frickin' thing.
    That's anticipation.

What is puzzling, to me anyway, is that after that first strike, I really get into it. I want that SOB to give it all he's got. Pain tests a dudes stamina. And when the whipping ends, yah, there is a sense of like, fuck, I did it, but there is also the anticipation of next time, how much pain can I tolerate?

  12. Well said, Richie. I hope the flogger is bare chested in the next video.

  13. Richie nailed it as always, nearly always anyway. Of course it is about the freaking pain. No "honor, courage, commitment" in taking off your shirt for a Swedish massage. The lash burns and hurts like bloody hell and the glory is we are the hombres man enough to do it. Taking that rawhide brought down full force across our big shoulders and bare backs and not wussing out; committed to every brutal lash, no outs; stripping to the waist for it in the first place, JUST DOING IT, shows the men who have big hairy brass ones, testing manhood like you got some air on your chest.

  14. Huh? Nearly always? Mike, dude, I ALWAYS get it right. Conceited little punk, ain't I?

  15. Richie, peel that shirt off and get your tail out to the barn, Mister. A little reality check coming your way. When you see my beautiful coiled 8 footer black bullwhip well treated with neatsfoot oil firmly in my grip ready to let loose on that bare back of yours, your lesson in humility is inevitable.

  17. Yo, Mike - Dude, take a number. There are so many that wanna teach me, my hide would be raw by the time they're done. Raw hide, did ya get that? Better get my ass in gear, gotta get to work before the whip comes down....

  18. Where is that outdoor flogging you have promised?

  19. Hi Max!

We keep bumping into each other online - Yahoo Answers, other groups, and now here.

Hope you managed to find someone to help you out locally, it really does get to be an "itch that has to be scratched" doesn't it?

For what it's worth, I would SUGGEST you consider a cat, flogger or belt / strap (at least for your first flogging). A bullwhip, favoured by some, unless handled by a VERY skilled person can do a lot more long-term damage than most folks would want.

Interestingly, pain and damage are often totally unrelated in this "sport". Just as a burn can be agony and a cut not so much so, so a back that has been tawsed or given a severe flogging from a cat can often fail to get more than a few "shaving nick" type cuts - but cause more pain than a single tail which cuts on the first stroke.

I admit I would love to test myself against a bullwhip - but it will be with someone who is fantasically accurate - and with me accepting that I might get a few marks which I carry for a very long time. For some people - especially those that choose to go shirtless a lot, that might not be a great plan.

Or a great conversation starter depanding on how you want to see it.

Great to see you on here and I hope you find what you are seeking.

Mark - posted as anonymous jsut because I don't have to go and delete the posting of facebook etc!

  20. Since this is the closest thread to a meta-discussion, I'm posting here.

Recently, the "Recent Comments" and "Followers" boxes have been showing up blank. I discovered to my chagrin that if I view the content with IE 9 it shows up fine. When I switch back to Firefox (even in safe-mode, with all user-added extensions and preference disabled), those content areas are blank.

This shouldn't happen. These days there is absolutely no reason not to exclusively use standards-compliant web features that work everywhere. Use of Microsoft proprietary features has no place on the web anymore.

  21. I wish there was something I could say, Curious One. I only really have control over the look and feel of the blog within the narrow options they provide--and, of course, the content that is on the site.
